How to make peach marmalade tart?

From my first recipe book;

While I was going through my first recipe book, I used to cook the tart for my children, whom we liked with its thin dough and crumbly flavor, from time to time. Since we always have homemade marmalade at hand, it would be practical to just prepare the dough and bake it. Of course, my mother used to make our jams and marmalades back then. I suggest you try the nostalgic tart, which you can easily make with any marmalade.

Service: 25 cm diameter tart mold

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Cooking time: 30 minutes

With the measure of 200 ml water glass;

  • 180 gr roll cream
  • Half a cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of butter to apply in the mold,
  • 1 cup peaches or any marmalade you have on hand
  • Ornamental candies if you wish,
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar

Mix the cream and powdered sugar with a hand whisk. Blend the flour, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla and sift and add to the creamy mixture, knead by hand, wrap it in cling film (we get a soft and non-sticky dough), leave it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Brush the bottom and sides of the tart pan with butter. Roll out the dough on silicon mat or baking paper with a rolling pin with a diameter of 30 – 35 cm and pass it into the tart pan, cut off the excess around the edges with a rolling pin (let’s keep the remaining dough aside to make sheets). Take the marmalade on the dough and straighten it, and fold the dough at the edge height inwards. Gather the dough you have kept on the side, roll it out to a thickness of half a cm, cut it with a leaf or any small cookie cutter you have and place it on the sides and top of the tart. If you wish, sprinkle with ornamental sugar and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown in a fan oven preheated to 170 degrees for 10 minutes. After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy and stay with loveā€¦
